Its a feast!
In my wanderings around the neighborhood I came across this smooth sumac tree in full bloom with tiny little flowers. There were hundreds of bees all over these blooms, but just one butterfly-an American Painted Lady. None of these critters paid any attention to me as I watched them and took their photos-they were all quite content to gorge themselves on the nectar these blooms are producing.
Thanks so much for checking out my blog. I'm a full time stained glass artisan so I will be posting different items that I'm working on. I work from my home studio in West Tennessee close to the Tennessee River in Perryville. My husband and I share our home with 9 rescued kitties--maybe its the other way around and they are all letting us stay here.

Wow! Those are stunning photographs of Butterflies and Bees!
Breathtakingly beautiful photographs. So vivid-almost 3D.
